The Young Man

In this captivating audiobook, Annie Ernaux recounts her intense love affair with a younger man, A., during her fifties. The relationship not only sparks reflections on her youth but also evokes a sense of timelessness and living in reverse. As discussions of parenthood loom in the backdrop of approaching menopause, Ernaux balances her memories as the "scandalous girl" with the wisdom gained from her extensive writing career.
