In her final semester, a college student unexpectedly finds herself researching her ex-boyfriend, the town's most prominent athlete, for an article. This professional assignment leads to her awkwardly living next door to him, complicating her efforts to move on. As their paths continually cross, he persistently asks her out, making it increasingly difficult for her to remain detached.
