A Hearing Heart

In 1902, after losing her fiancé, schoolteacher Catherine Johnson relocates to Nebraska to teach in a one-room schoolhouse. When she rescues deaf stable hand Jim Kinney from danger, their connection deepens as she teaches him to read and sign, igniting a bond that transcends words. However, societal obstacles, including class differences and Jim's disability, challenge their affection.
