This Is How We Fly

In This is How We Fly, 17-year-old vegan feminist Ellen Lopez-Rourke faces a summer of grounding imposed by her stepmother, just as she looks forward to spending time with her best friends before college. To reclaim her summer, she joins a local muggle Quidditch team, navigating the world of sports while dealing with evolving friendships and family challenges. This charming retelling of Cinderella combines humor and heart, offering a fresh perspective on adolescence and self-discovery against the backdrop of club Quidditch. Anna Meriano's debut is a delightful exploration of identity and belonging, perfect for fans of contemporary YA.
