High school senior Ally Duncan's aspirations to attend Columbia and study abroad in Paris are jeopardized by her father's medical bills. To help finance her dreams, she takes a job as an on-set assistant to her best friend, Vanessa Park, the star of a hit teen drama. As Ally spends more time with Van and gets to know the charming co-star Liam, she finds herself navigating complicated relationships, especially when publicists create staged romances.
