In an Evil Land

In the second installment of the Seachange series, Maauro, an AI grappling with her existence, seeks a greater purpose after selling her cargo. Joined by Dassa, she recruits new crewmembers from a refugee camp, including a withdrawn boy who believes he is a robot, mirroring her own quest for identity. Their journey takes them to an alien world on the edge of known space, where they face new enemies, including the notorious Mystic Pirates.
