In the year 2070, Earth's weather is regulated by the Gravitron, a Moon-based facility facing a dire plague epidemic that threatens its dwindling crew. As the Doctor arrives with his companions, he becomes engrossed in uncovering the source of the infection while Jamie wrestles with delirium and haunting visions. With an invading force from Mondas intent on seizing control of the Gravitron and unleashing catastrophic weather events, the Doctor races against time to save humanity from a terrifying transformation.
