In Gethsemane, Ohio, a troubling epidemic termed "The Suicide Virus" grips the community as teenagers take their own lives at an alarming rate. Amidst his personal struggles following his mother’s death, senior Steven Wrigley becomes captivated by Elise Devon, a girl with mysterious secrets and a refuge called the Obscura. This haunting place offers her solace but also beckons a sinister presence known as the Sorrow King, an entity that feeds on sorrow.
