Twilight of the Gods: A Novel

In "A Gathering of Ravens," set in 1218, Grimnir returns to defend the Raven-Geats from the crusader Konráðr the White, who aims to eradicate Norse beliefs and impose Christianity. As tensions rise, Grimnir, the last of an ancient line of monsters, must protect his people with the help of berserkers led by a fierce queen. Their battle not only pits them against the crusaders but also awakens formidable forces tied to the very gods themselves, threatening to unleash something dark and powerful buried within the land.
