In the vibrant, perilous city of New Pittsburgh in 1898, a shadowy government known as The Oligarchy rules over a populace grappling with the aftermath of destruction and supernatural threats lurking beneath the surface. Treasures and unusual artifacts are sought by treasure hunters Jake Desmet and Rick Brand, alongside Jake's cousin, Veronique Le Clerque. Their lives take a dark turn when a commission leads to murder, plunging them into a conspiracy filled with dark magic and industrial sabotage that could endanger not only their city but the entire world.
