The Spy

Set against the backdrop of the Revolutionary War in upstate New York, the Wharton family finds their peaceful life disrupted when their son Henry, a British officer in disguise, is arrested as a spy. As tensions rise and American troops encroach, the family grapples with the dual loyalties that complicate their relationships, particularly with Henry's captor, Major Dunwoodie, who is also a family friend. Amidst a brewing battle and the presence of captured officers in their home, the Whartons await Henry's trial, unaware that a real spy remains hidden among them.
