Young Lentil struggles to sing on key and can't even whistle, so he takes up the harmonica instead, filling the streets of Alto, Ohio, with his beautiful music. As he perfects his craft in time for the celebration of Colonel Carter’s return, he faces challenges from the town's grouchiest resident, Old Sneep, who opposes the festivities. Lentil's talent ultimately proves to be the key to lifting the town's spirits during this special event.
