In the vibrant backdrop of Imperial Rome under Augustus Caesar, Cassius, a celebrated war hero from a powerful family, conceals a deep-seated fear of combat that haunts him since a traumatic experience in Germany. Living a lavish lifestyle filled with parties, affairs, and indulgence, his facade is threatened when summoned by the Emperor's wife, compelling him to return to Germany.
