Roads of Resistance

After the murder of her father, fifteen-year-old Ingrid Lang escapes Austria, only to find herself alone and injured in Arnhem during the Nazi occupation. With the help of a local doctor and his daughter, she joins the resistance four years later when Gerrit Hendriks, wanted by the Gestapo, arrives seeking refuge. As Ingrid and Gerrit collaborate to aid the Allies and defy their oppressors, their initial differences give way to a deepening bond amidst the perilous backdrop of war and impending operations that will alter their lives forever.
