Terrorism and Communism (Revolutions Series)

In "Terrorism and Communism," Leon Trotsky articulates a vigorous defense of revolutionary dictatorship during the tumultuous period following the Russian Revolution, as he leads the Red Army against the White armies. This powerful work, written amidst the chaos of the Civil War, is reexamined in a new edition by critic Slavoj Zizek, who emphasizes its enduring relevance by critiquing the illusions of democracy.
