The Tainted City

Dev finds himself imprisoned by the Alathian Council after a smuggling job goes awry, forced into a precarious alliance with his friend Kiran, a former apprentice of a dangerous mage. Desperate to save a child he swore to protect, Dev accepts the Council's offer of freedom in exchange for help on a secret mission back to his home city, Ninavel. Upon arrival, the mission spirals into chaos as betrayal unfolds, pushing Dev and Kiran to confront the haunting realities of their pasts to save their loved ones and escape the treacherous grip of the Tainted City.
