Wolf shifter and carpenter Jake Rowly returns to his hometown of Virtue after a broken heart, only to unexpectedly cross paths with single mother Mabs Brannigan. Mabs seeks a fresh start in a rundown farmhouse inherited from a relative, but her dreams are threatened when an unscrupulous contractor absconds with her money. As Jake, in need of a place to stay, helps Mabs renovate her home, the two face their pasts and the secrets of the house, discovering a growing romance amid the challenges they encounter.
