Starship Theseus

Richard Hammett, now an admiral in the Colonial Forces, faces dire challenges in the Naxos system as he defends the colony against the alien Hive and the vengeful Spacecom fleet. When a deep-space mission uncovers an alien Gate, Hammett finds himself trapped between hostile forces. As the two human fleets momentarily unite to confront a common enemy, a risky plan emerges that could strike a major blow to the alien empire. However, victory could mean peril for Hammett, as former allies may seek revenge, viewing him as a traitor.
