Waylon believes that science can solve most problems, but his partnership with the troublemaking Baxter Boylen complicates matters, especially when they must share a dog named Dumpster Eddy, who is locked up at the Stray Animals' Lock-up. As Baxter faces ongoing trouble with the law, the two boys bond over their shared mission to rescue Eddy, particularly with a new Animal Control officer threatening the dog's future.
