Eagle Talons

Fourteen-year-old Will Braddock, newly orphaned and determined to forge his own path, journeys west to find his uncle, a surveyor on the transcontinental railroad. He aims to convince his uncle not to send him into a life of blacksmithing, seeking instead the thrill of adventure on the growing frontier. As he navigates challenges—including a vendetta-driven thug and a kidnapped friend—Will learns the importance of self-reliance and courage, ultimately risking everything to rescue those he cares about.
