Eighth grader Toby Harbinger finds himself in deep trouble after selling his father's cherished Star Wars blaster to a man who believes he’s Darth Vader. With a $5,000 prize at stake in the school science fair, Toby's hopes for escape are complicated by a nefarious plot involving rich classmates and their ambitious parents, unwittingly manipulated by an evil mastermind aiming for destruction. As Toby and his friends, Tamara and Micah, navigate a series of outlandish challenges— including a mad scientist and unconventional allies—they must race against time to thwart the villain's plans while evading federal charges.
