In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, a teenage witch named Jenny Morgan grapples with her newfound magical heritage after losing her parents. Sent to live with an unfamiliar aunt in West Virginia, Jenny initially dismisses the ancient lore surrounding her family's witchcraft.
