Ava Birch, an ordinary ghoul, finds herself in over her head after a call from Texas prompts her to address infiltrating Valkyries in a roller derby league. With the threat of renegade Templars and a powerful weapon looming over her existence, Ava reluctantly takes on the job while also being tasked with eliminating a rival psychic.
