The 47th Samurai

In "I, Sniper," Bob Lee Swagger and Philip Yano are interconnected by their fathers' fateful meeting during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. More than six decades later, Yano travels to America seeking a legendary sword belonging to his father, inspiring Swagger, an ex-marine, to assist in the quest. Their discovery of the katana leads Swagger into a dangerous world filled with yakuza crime and cultural challenges in Tokyo, where he confronts a violent conspiracy fueled by power and greed. As he navigates this treacherous landscape, Swagger must embrace the ways of the samurai to survive and seek justice.
