Timaeus and Criteas

Dive into the profound philosophical exploration of Plato’s Timaeus and Critias, where the origins of the cosmos and the legend of Atlantis intertwine. In Timaeus, a Pythagorean philosopher shares insights on divine geometry and the creation of the soul, presenting a unique blend of science, theology, and philosophy. Critias follows with an unfinished tale of a majestic empire whose moral decline serves as a cautionary parable. Together, these dialogues offer a rich tapestry of metaphysical truths and reflections on human society that resonate through the ages.
