Pocket Bear

In "Pocket," a charming tale by Katherine Applegate, readers are introduced to Pocket Bear, a lovable creation born during WWI as a good luck charm for soldiers. Crafted with care to fit snugly in a soldier's pocket, Pocket embodies bravery and loyalty while serving as the unofficial mayor of Second Chances Home for the Tossed and Treasured, where forgotten stuffed animals find new homes. Accompanied by his best friend Zephyrina, the clever feline known as "The Cat Burglar," Pocket's journey highlights themes of love, kindness, and the importance of second chances.
