Martin Marten

In "Martin Marten," 14-year-old Dave navigates the transition to high school while living in a cabin on Oregon's Mount Hood, also known as Wy'east. As he faces the impending changes of adulthood, his journey intertwines with that of Martin, a young pine marten leaving his family to explore the wilderness. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Oregon forest, this tale weaves together their adventures in a celebration of life, family, and the mysteries of nature, all captured in Brian Doyle's vibrant storytelling.
