Expelled Harvard student and former Special Forces operative Joe Brody is trying to rebuild his life as a bouncer at a Queens strip club while living with his grandmother. However, his childhood friend Gio Caprisi, now the head of New York's Italian Mafia, calls on Joe’s unique skills to navigate the dangerous streets after a series of successful call girls mysteriously disappear.
