A group of survivors in a West Virginia town embarks on a perilous journey to the besieged USAMRIID lab, known as "Fort Doom," aiming to secure a pure sample of Infection. As they navigate the chaos, a clash of ideologies arises: one scientist seeks to weaponize the Infection while another believes in the possibility of a cure. Amidst the dire circumstances, a lone survivor presents a new approach to living in this bleak reality, leading each character to confront their limits in the fight for humanity's survival.
