Discourse on the Method

In "Discourse on the Method," René Descartes embarks on a profound inquiry into the nature of knowledge, challenging the reliability of sensory perception. He advocates for a foundational approach that begins with doubt, leading to his pivotal assertion that the act of thinking itself confirms our existence. This groundbreaking work laid the framework for modern philosophy, influencing contemporary thought and methods of reasoning.
