Mayan December

In "The Maya Codex," Dr. Alice Cameron, a renowned archeoastronomer, finds herself in the midst of ancient Mayan culture on the Yucatan Peninsula during the critical period of December 2012. Accompanied by her daughter Nixie, Alice navigates a landscape filled with scholars, conspiracy theorists, and international leaders. When Nixie mysteriously vanishes into the past, Alice is thrust into a complex web of time travel and statecraft, teaming up with a diverse cast, including a time-traveler, a shaman, and a noble Mayan couple, all searching for meaning and the key to save two worlds.
