Scarlet

In a Paris under siege from the guillotine, a mysterious old woman witnesses a hero known as the Pimpernel, or Lady Scarlet Cavendish, deftly rescuing aristocrats from certain death. By day, Scarlet masquerades as a frivolous widow in London, but her true identity as a daring spy working against the tide of the French Revolution is a closely guarded secret. Tasked with the perilous mission of saving the charming Comte Matteo Durand, she finds herself falling in love, complicating her dangerous double life amidst a web of intrigue and hidden agendas.
