Deadly Peril

In the winter of 1763, Alec, Lord Halsey, embarks on a perilous diplomatic mission to the war-torn Midanich, part of the Holy Roman Empire, where he must negotiate for the release of his imprisoned friends, Emily St. Neots and Sir Cosmo Mahon. Haunted by his past experiences in this dangerous land ruled by a mad family, Alec races against time across treacherous terrain and harsh weather, facing both natural and human threats. As he approaches the castle fortress, he finds himself confronted by the ruthless Margrave and his sister, who have sinister intentions for him.
