The festival showcases acclaimed poets, including David St. John, known for his works like American Hybrid; Frank Bidart, a finalist for the 2008 Los Angeles Times Book Prize with Watching the Spring Festival: Poems; John Felstiner, recognized for his literary criticism and his recent title, Can Poetry Save the Earth! A Field Guide to Nature Poems; and Marie Howe, author of The Kingdom of Ordinary Time, also a finalist for the poetry prize.
