A Professor of Egyptology

While staying in Cairo for the winter, Cecilia and her mother become enchanted by the esteemed Egyptologist, Professor Constanides. Cecilia, in particular, finds herself drawn to him, spending considerable time in his company. One evening, after returning alone from a party, she feels an inexplicable urge to leave her hotel and explore the streets of Cairo, leading to an unexpected adventure with the mysterious Professor.
