Tunnel Vision

Private investigator V.I. Warshawski finds herself in a precarious situation when her Chicago office is slated for demolition, forcing her into a tense stand-off as a hold-out tenant. When she discovers a homeless woman and her three children in the building's basement, they mysteriously vanish, and V.I. becomes embroiled in a murder investigation after the body of a prominent lawyer’s wife appears on her desk. As she investigates the case, which she believes is tied to hidden domestic abuse, V.I. faces increasing opposition from the police and delves into the dark secrets buried within Chicago’s underground.
