Obedience

As insurance investigator Dave Brandstetter nears retirement, he is drawn back into the fray when an old friend requests his help in solving the murder of a Vietnamese immigrant. Tasked with defending Andy Flanagan, a young man accused of the crime, Dave immerses himself in the case and uncovers a disturbing international conspiracy hidden within the shantytown of Old Fleet.
