Mandy Pennington, the leader of her spirit committee, struggles with her secret love for her best friend, Gus, especially after he connects with her archenemy at a party. Determined to win him over, she teams up with the brooding loner Caleb Torrs, who proposes a fake relationship to distract both their love interests.
