The Perdition Score

In the latest installment of the Sandman Slim series by Richard Kadrey, James Stark, also known as Sandman Slim, is tasked by Thomas Abbot of the Sub Rosa council to investigate a young boy's disappearance while also uncovering ties to powerful figures in Wormwood. As Stark's quest intensifies, he encounters a dying angel who provides him with a mysterious black liquid that could shift the balance in a war among angels. With one of his closest friends poisoned by this liquid, Stark and his ally Candy must venture into Hell to find a cure, facing off against damned souls and making critical choices that could determine the fate of the world and their own lives.
