City of Blows

Set in early 2020, City of Blows follows legendary producer Jacob Rosenthal as he embarks on his ambitious film project, Coal, adapted from Rex Patterson's bestselling novel and addressing the contentious issue of race in America. With hopes for a breakthrough, he hires David Levit as director, only to face opposition from David's resentful former colleague, Brad Shlansky, who concocts a plot that threatens to derail the film and damage the lives of those involved.
