The Bruised Reed

In this impactful audiobook, Richard Sibbes, a key figure in 17th-century Puritanism, explores the metaphor of the "bruised reed" from Matthew 12:20. He reveals how God humbles sinners by helping them recognize their sins as He does, illustrating that while God may wound before healing, the ultimate aim is to deepen one’s love for Christ. Emphasizing that "God's love rests on Christ," Sibbes offers profound comfort to those living in Christ and striving for redemption.
