Gabby Banks, an author, experiences a whirlwind of emotions when her post-apocalyptic novel, Ice Blue Eyes in the Desert Sun, is adapted into a film. Invited to Arizona for the shoot, she encounters British actor Robert Shepard, who has his own feelings for her. However, Gabby grapples with unresolved issues from her past relationship that threaten her budding connection with Robert. As the premiere approaches, she must confront her fears to decide if they will walk the red carpet together or if she'll continue to evade her feelings.
