Streets of Fire

In 1963 Birmingham, police detective Ben Wellman discovers a shallow grave on a football field containing the body of a young black girl, her life tragically cut short. Despite being urged by his superiors to limit his investigation amidst the city's racial tensions, Wellman is determined to uncover the truth, even as he faces mistrust from the black community and resistance from his own department. As he delves deeper, he uncovers secrets that powerful figures from both sides of the city would rather keep hidden.
