Viruses and Volcanoes

Viruses and Volcanoes chronicles the author's journey through the Covid-19 pandemic, depicted through her personal journals kept during lockdown. Written from the viewpoint of a grandmother and wife to a husband with a newly diagnosed serious lung condition, the narrative captures the initial shock of the pandemic, the emotional challenges of lockdown, and the shift to adapting to a new normal. Following the first lockdown, the story transitions as the couple relocates to the Caribbean, further exploring their experiences on the other side of the Atlantic.
