Caine Riordan and his crew find themselves stranded in uncharted space aboard a derelict alien ship, facing an urgent crisis with only forty-eight hours before it plunges into the atmosphere of an unknown planet. Their only means of descent is through improvised cargo drop pods, leading them into a perilous environment filled with bizarre, carnivorous species and the remnants of humanity’s feared enemies, the Ktor.
