Dead Voices

In "Dead Voices," the second installment of Katherine Arden's Small Spaces Quartet, friends Ollie, Coco, and Brian embark on a winter ski trip at Mount Hemlock Resort, only to be trapped by a snowstorm. As they settle in with hot chocolate and games, strange occurrences unfold—Coco believes she has seen a ghost, and Ollie faces disturbing nightmares. Their peculiar situation becomes even more complicated with the arrival of Mr. Voland, a ghost hunter, who guides them in exploring the dead voices surrounding the lodge.
