Cold Snap

In "Worms Gone Wild!", set in 1998 in the town of Demise, North Dakota, nineteen-year-old Realene grapples with the aftermath of the Meteor Murders, a tragedy caused by alien worms and misattributed to a doomsday cult. As she struggles to cope with the losses, she learns that a second meteor fragment has been discovered in Canada, where her best friend Nate is enjoying a spring break trip. To rescue him, Realene must confront her fears and navigate a dangerous landscape filled with alien worms, a secretive military operation, and an unrelenting cold snap.
