Jim Wekle's first day as a trooper on a remote Alaskan island takes a dark turn when he discovers a bikini-clad girl floating in a kelp bed, the victim of a mysterious shooting. As he navigates the peculiar and eccentric island community while investigating the crime, Jim encounters a cast of hilariously unique characters, including his bizarre but invaluable partner, known as Kram.
