The Deirdre

In The Deirdre, the second installment of the Mark Twain on the Moon saga, Samuel Clemens and his partner Calvin find themselves dramatically rescued by the crew of The Deirdre after being stranded in a remote lunar crater. However, their relief quickly turns to peril as they are thrust into indentured servitude, mining ice deep beneath the lunar surface. Tensions escalate when Calvin hears the eerie cries of a long-dead miner, prompting a fight for survival that requires all of Sam's cunning and a trusty six-gun.
