Maelstrom

Dr. Steven Collins is on a mission to prevent a catastrophic asteroid collision that could decimate Earth, dedicating years to develop a shield utilizing the planet's magnetic field. However, when he tests his invention, it inadvertently tears open a breach in time and space, propelling him into a grim future where his creation has triggered a global Armageddon.
